Prime example of it’s so bad, it’s good! 😂 So many of these types of horror films from 1980-1983! The Golden Era of cheesy, video nasties! Friday night, corner video store, a couple of VHS tapes for .99 each, a couple of Pepsi’s, bowl of popcorn and life was good! It was the 80s you see. Edit, add on; I think the step dad is in a Seinfeld episode called “The Jacket”. He plays Elaine’s dad.

Van Helsing which came out in 2004 was basically a mashup of House of Dracula / House of Frankenstein. So many monsters, not much of a movie.
